About

The dreaded “About” page: best done after a night of moderate beer drinking, sleep-deprived with movie-prop cup of coffee in hand.

What is this site about?
This site is more of an outlet for me than a resource for you.  As of late, this site has no theme.  I chose the term “Lovehandled” because it sounded clever in my inner-dialogue.  I am focused on my personal health (both physical and mental) and this has led me to working out more, eating like a college student less, and balancing work and life by consuming massive amounts of random information.

This website is a reflection of this idea: this is not a diet site, but I may talk about dieting; this is not a dating site, but I will talk about dating (or my lack of it); this is about stuff I love and the random thoughts involved – plain and simple… or not.

Who am I?
Who are you?  That is a better question.  I am a marketing guy who also works with graphic design and social media.  I do NOT consider myself an expert in any of these disciplines, but I do consider myself a student.  I treat my life like college – in order for me to enjoy life, I stay curious about everything and try to learn as much as I can, so long as it interests me.  I can play guitar.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with a degree in Corporate Communication.  I am a Texas Exes Life Member.  I work for a pharmaceutical company.  I share the same name with two other members in my immediate family.  I was an orchestra dork in high school.  My coworker took my “man card.”  I’ve used the bathroom in six different time zones (not including international waters).

I remain a geek to this day.

Why I do not know are is not to reason why.
This is actual text from an email received by a co-worker.  It’s hard to believe that anyone can have this much mastery of the [non]English language.  Now this screwed up syntax is stuck in my head.
