Texas Pride

This post is symbolic of my labor(s) of love: Camp Texas and photography.  I had the opportunity to attend the Camp Texas 20th Anniversary Reunion and celebrate my love for the University of Texas (Class of 2004), the Texas Exes (I’m a life member), and Camp Texas (the spirit-heavy supplement to freshman orientation).  Serving as a camp counselor and executive board member during college, many (not all, but MANY) of my fondest memories were because of Camp Texas.

The reunion allowed for us to catch up with the program, meet with the creators of Camp Texas, act goofy (as counselors always do) and hang out with counselors/staff, old and new.  There’s an excellent write-up from our alumni magazine, The Alcalde.  Yes, one of the photos made it to the article (and I’m damn proud of having my name placed anywhere on their site/magazine).  Hook ’em!
